Author Guidelines
SAER Journal uses a clear and flexible submission framework designed to help researchers from different disciplines prepare manuscripts in accordance with scholarly publishing standards.
This page summarizes the core submission requirements. More detailed guidance on academic writing, research design, sampling, data analysis and referencing is provided in the SAER academic guide pages.
Before Submission
Submitted work must be original and must not be under consideration by another journal at the same time. Authors should confirm that the manuscript fits the journal's aims and scope and that all applicable ethical requirements have been satisfied.
Ethics approval, permissions or informed consent documentation required for the relevant study design should be obtained before submission.
Submission Files
Author information and the main manuscript must be prepared as separate files to preserve double-anonymous peer review.
- Title page
- Anonymous main manuscript
- Ethics documents, where applicable
- Supplementary tables or data, where applicable
The title page should include author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, corresponding author details, contributorship, funding, conflict of interest and acknowledgements where applicable.
Basic Manuscript Format
- A4 page size
- Times New Roman
- 11-point body text
- 1.15 line spacing
- 2.5 cm margins
- 6 pt paragraph spacing
- Justified text
Authors are encouraged to use the Word manuscript templates provided by the journal. Manuscript structure may vary according to article type and disciplinary reporting conventions.
Title, Abstract and Keywords
The title should clearly represent the main subject of the study. Abstracts should generally contain 150–300 words and summarize the purpose, methods, principal findings and conclusion.
Each article should provide 3–6 keywords representing its core scholarly content.
Publication Languages
SAER Journal accepts manuscripts in Turkish, English and Arabic. Turkish and Arabic articles must include an English title, abstract, keywords and essential bibliographic metadata.
A Turkish abstract is not mandatory for manuscripts submitted in English.
