How to Write an Abstract for a Scientific Article?

SAER JOURNAL / AUTHOR GUIDE
Only two files are required for initial submission: an anonymized full-text manuscript and a title page containing author information.
Formatting according to the journal template is not mandatory at initial submission. Authors only need to upload the anonymized full-text manuscript and the title page as separate files. Accepted manuscripts will be formatted by the SAER Journal editorial team in accordance with the journal’s publication format before publication.

Submission Files
For initial submission, it is sufficient to prepare the following two Word files separately. The full-text manuscript does not need to follow a specific journal template.

Anonymized Full Text
Prepare your manuscript in editable Word (.docx) format. The title, abstract, keywords, main text, tables, figures and references should be included in this file. It must not contain author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers or other information that could reveal author identity.

Title Page
Author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, corresponding author information, contribution statement, funding, conflicts of interest and other required author information should be provided in this file.

You may use the SAER Journal template for the title page. The full-text manuscript does not need to be formatted according to the journal publication format at initial submission.
BEFORE SUBMISSION
Before Submission
Originality
The manuscript must be original and must not be under consideration by another journal at the same time.
Ethics Documents
Where applicable, ethics committee approval, permissions and informed consent documentation should be available.
Author Declarations
Statements concerning contributions, conflicts of interest, funding, data availability and the use of artificial intelligence should be provided where applicable.
Reporting Standards
Where appropriate to the study design, authors are encouraged to follow CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, CARE, COREQ, ARRIVE or other relevant reporting standards.
