Interdisciplinary Research
SAER Journal welcomes interdisciplinary research at the intersections of the humanities and cultural studies with the social sciences, arts, education, technology, communication and other fields of inquiry.
Digital humanities, cultural heritage and technology, environmental humanities, visual culture, science and technology studies, and interdisciplinary intellectual history are examples of such intersections.

Scientific and Ethical Expectations
Studies are expected to define the research problem clearly, justify the theoretical or methodological approach employed, and discuss the findings within the relevant literature and context.
Research involving archival materials, visual materials, oral history data, human participants or elements of cultural heritage must comply with applicable ethical, institutional and legal requirements.
Sources, translations, visual materials and historical documents must be used in accordance with principles of academic integrity, copyright and appropriate attribution.
