Education Sciences constitute one of the principal fields within the scope of SAER Journal. The journal considers original scholarly research on learning, teaching, educational administration, teacher education, special education, counselling, assessment and educational technologies.

Education Sciences include original research across the disciplines listed below and related fields. The list is indicative rather than restrictive.

Learning processes, instructional design, classroom practice and pedagogical approaches.

Teacher education, professional competence, teacher identity and continuing development.

School administration, leadership, governance, education policy and institutional research.

Special education, inclusive education, digital learning, artificial intelligence and educational technologies.
SAER Journal is not limited to a single topic, approach or subdiscipline within Education Sciences.
Different methodological approaches may be considered when they are appropriate to the research question and established standards of the relevant discipline.
SAER Journal welcomes interdisciplinary research connecting Education Sciences with psychology, artificial intelligence, technology, health, social policy, management and other fields of scholarship.
The interdisciplinary contribution should be clearly justified in relation to the research question, methodology and scholarly contribution.
Manuscripts are expected to define the research question clearly, justify the selected methodology, analyse findings using appropriate methods and discuss results within the context of existing scholarship.
Research involving students, teachers or other participants should provide appropriate ethics approval, institutional permissions, informed consent and data protection safeguards where required.
Where appropriate, authors are encouraged to follow relevant international reporting standards and discipline-specific scholarly guidelines.
Falling within Education Sciences does not in itself guarantee external peer review or publication. Submissions are also assessed editorially for originality, scientific quality, methodological adequacy, ethical compliance and potential scholarly contribution.
